What is Transactional Analysis Therapy?

Developed by Eric Berne in the late 1950’s, Transactional Analysis (TA) is a widely recognised form of modern psychology. Designed as a framework to help understand who we are and how we relate and converse with others, transactional analysis promotes personal growth and change, helping individuals to reach their full potential in all aspects of life.

The transactional analysis theory of ‘Life Script’ explains how we continue to repeat behaviour patterns made in our childhood into adulthood. These thoughts and feelings can often be overpowering, agonising and limit your potential.

Once we become aware of our self-defeating and limiting beliefs, they then become available to us to change. This change is accomplished by us working together on problem-solving behaviours to identify the interactions and develop day-to-day choices that will enable you to achieve your desired goals.
